Namche Bazaar, elevation 11,200 ft. (3440 m.) is a Sherpa Village near Mt. Kwangde. Mt Kwangde is also know as Kwangde Ri (20,298 ft. or 6187 m.) and was first climbed in 1975 by Lharkpha Tenzing, Sonam Gyalzen, Shambhu Tamang, and Sonam Hisi. |
